I'm Employed

FAQs

Why do you need to know my hourly salary?

As part of our reporting requirements to our institutional accrediting agency, we report aggregate data on the average median of salary offers from our graduates.  Platt College only reports on the base salary, without differential pay.

Why do you need to know my most current address and phone number?

As part of our verification process for accreditation purposes, it is possible that you may be contacted to verify your employment information up to a year past graduation. For more information about what information the College collects, and when that information is gathered, visit Information Collected on Graduates.

What does Platt College consider an official employment start date to be?

Platt College reports official employment start dates as the first date a new grad is officially paid on an organization's payroll.

Why do you collect information about supervisors and their contact information?

As part of our verification process for accreditation purposes, your supervisor will be contacted to answer questions regarding how well prepared Platt College graduates are in the field of nursing.

Why do you need to know what attempt I pass the NCLEX on?

According to programmatic accreditation standards, Platt College is obligated to report first time and all subsequent pass rates as a measure of meeting our program outcomes.  The number of NCLEX testing attempts is kept confidential in a graduate's file.

I graduated almost a year ago, is it too late to report my data here?

No. Platt College continuously collects graduate data to maintain accurate reporting measures.

Does it make a difference if I took the NCLEX in another state besides Colorado?

If you are applying for licensure in a state other than Colorado and you are testing in that state, your first-time NCLEX-RN success or failure will not be included in the first-time NCLEX-RN statistics for Platt College with the Colorado Board of Nursing. If you are applying for licensure in Colorado, but receive a testing date at a testing center site in a state neighboring Colorado, you will be counted in the first-time NCLEX-RN statistics for Platt College with the Colorado Board of Nursing.
